The current and future quarterback (for the next 1000 years) of the Philadelphia Eagles, Nick Foles, greeted visitors to the Sports Vault in the King of Prussia on Tuesday night. A line of hundreds of Eagles fans and sports memorability fanatics lined up in the Plaza stretching long beyond the food court for the opportunity to meet the NFL star, who in his second season tied the NFL-record with seven touchdown passes in a game.
Tickets were on sale in the Sports Vault to the event with proceeds going to The Barkann Family Healing Hearts Foundation, which provides aid to families in need due to adversity or tragedy. The Foundation aims to lessen the financial burdens due to illness of children, loss of home or property or sudden death or sudden death of a parent, among other tragedies.
The Sports Vault has worked alongside the Healing Hearts Foundation for years, bringing athletes to the store for signings and running a charity auction to raise money for the cause. Next Tuesday, DeSean Jackson will come to the Sports Vault for another charity signing event.
